Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS) has identified the following strategic goals. These goals were developed to ensure the ongoing provision of EXCELLENT REHABILITATION CARE in all of its Idaho and Oregon STARS locations.
#1: Excellence in Clinical Outcomes
STARS is committed to maintaining better-than-national performance in orthopedic clinical outcomes as measured by FOTO (Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes). Our main goal is to exceed established performance targets on our internally developed outcome tools for physical therapy patients.
#2: Excellence in Patient Satisfaction
Our goal is to maintain a 95%+ positive overall satisfaction rating and “likely to recommend” scores from our patients, as measured by our Press-Ganey patient satisfaction surveys.
#3: Excellence in Employee Satisfaction and Engagement
Maintain top overall employee engagement AND overall job satisfaction as measured by Avatar Solutions. (STARS was rated in the Top Three Nationwide and ranked in the 99% for Employee Engagement and has been awarded Avatar’s Best-of-Class for employee overall job satisfaction!)

- Ensure excellent fiscal management/financial stewardship
- Enhance coordination with physicians/other providers
- Assist patients with appointment keeping
- Increase locations to address demographic needs in concert with Saint Alphonsus Strategic Plan
- Maintain a fun/happy environment for therapy
