Beau Dobson, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS

Beau practices at the STARS Nampa Rec Center location. He  received both his undergraduate degree of Kinesiology-Exercise and Movement Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and recently achieved his certification as (OCS) Orthopedic Certified Specialist.

Beau’s clinical interests include: orthopedics, the integration of sport specific training with functional rehabilitation, movement mechanics, manual therapy and injury prevention. His areas of expertise include sports medicine, manual therapy, and movement mechanics. In his free time Beau enjoys staying active in the outdoors.

His favorite hobbies include hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, and CrossFit. CSCS –  Certified Strength and Condition Specialist

As a CSCS Beau will implement many different practices to train an athlete to attain his or her goal of enhancing athletic performance.  Strength and conditioning programs as well as Scientific knowledge is put towards sport specific training that will ensure a safe and effective session. Direction on injury prevention and best nutrition practices are also implemented in helping athletes attain peak performance.

As an OCS Beau has specialized in orthopedic care and with his experience of more than 2,000 hours of patient care and completion of many other requirements is recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS), as someone who has shown advanced skill and knowledge in the field of Physical Therapy.
