Brian Murphy, PT

“As a soccer player in high school, I suffered a knee injury. Following surgery I was in Physical Therapy so that I could return to soccer and play in college. It was then that I decided Physical Therapy was going to be a good profession for me to be in so that I could help others in their rehabilitation process.”

Brian earned his Bachelor of Science in Pre-Physical Therapy from Northwest Nazarene University. He then earned his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University.

Brian has been practicing Physical therapy since 2000. He has special interest in outpatient orthopedics, post operative orthopedic recovery with an emphasis on manual therapy. His emphasis is treating the individual with a variety of manual therapy techniques that are functional in order to decrease patients pain, improve their mobility as well as customized program in order to get his patients back to what they love doing.

Brian has been living in the Treasure Valley since 1991 and enjoys everything Idaho has to offer. Brian’s hobbies include playing and coaching soccer, mountain biking, skiing, hiking, backpacking, fly fishing and camping with his wife and four daughters.
