Dan attended Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa with the intent of playing collegiate basketball. That first year, he developed back pain and was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis, an inflammatory arthritis that affects the spine. Through physical therapy, he was able to return to playing basketball for the team his senior year.
Knowing the benefits of therapy and wanting to make a difference in the lives of others, he graduated from Northwest Nazarene College in 1993, and Idaho State University with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 1996. He has been working in the Nampa Community since 1996, first for Mercy Orhopedic and Sports Therapy (MOST), and then for Saltzer Rehabilitation. He now provides services at our STARS Nampa Garrity location and manages the Nampa clinics. He specializes in post-operative orthopedic recovery and sports rehabilitation.
Dan likes playing basketball, golfing, and spending time outdoors; camping and hiking with his wife Sharon and boys, Braden and Jaxson.
