Debbie practices at the STARS Eagle Health Plaza Location. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Human Performance, and her Masters Physical Therapy from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul/Minneapolis, MN in 1994. After graduating she worked in Colorado, Wisconsin, and Utah before making her “forever “ home in Boise, ID. Although having worked in all areas of PT including inpatient, home health, school, and private practice, she found her passion in outpatient orthopedic care.

Deb has specialized in rehabilitation of the spine and is now certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment (MDT) through the McKenzie Institute. MDT is a well-researched exercise based approach to assessment, diagnosis and treatment using a comprehensive and clinically reasoned evaluation of patients. The treatment principles of MDT promote the body’s potential to repair itself and allow patients to learn how to manage their own symptoms.

Her clinical interests include treating orthopedic injuries of the spine, ankle/foot, and temporal-mandibular joint (TMJ). She utilizes an eclectic treatment approach, which may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, patient education, and home exercise programs.

In her free time, Deb enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, watercolor painting, playing with her dog, and most of all spending time with her husband and two teen kids.
