I finished my undergraduate degree in History at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I worked for a few years in the social work field with teens transitioning out of the foster care system before I decided to go back to school for Speech Pathology. I completed by graduate work at Idaho State University at the Meridian Campus and really enjoyed the diversity of clinical placements and working with a variety of patients here in the Treasure Valley. I have been working here at STARS in the Outpatient Brain Injury program for the past 8 years.

I have certifications in Vital Stim Dysphagia therapy and am also a Certified Brain Injury Specialist through the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists. Most of my work at STARS has been focused on helping patients recover cognitive, language, and speech skills after brain injury, concussion, or stroke. I am very committed to making therapy as functional as possible and helping patients get back to the activities they love.
