Question: I have noticed over the past month that my right shoulder is sore and becoming difficult to use, especially overhead and behind my back. I haven’t done anything to hurt it. What could be the problem?
Answer: Your shoulder may be freezing up on you, which is called
adhesive capsulitis or frozen shoulder. There doesn’t need to be a
trauma for the shoulder to go through this. It is a tightening of the
shoulder capsule which makes range of motion difficult and painful.
You should go to your doctor to confirm and at that point, he will
send you to physical therapy to work on restoring your motion. For
