Question: I just hurt my back. Should I use ice or heat?

Answer: I typically recommend ice. When there is pain associated with a there is usually inflammation in the injured area. The ice will help to get the inflammation reduced. If your pain is not resolving within a few days, it’s always recommended you should make an appointment to have your injury evaluated.
