Jim became interested in physical therapy after incurring a ski accident in his early 20’s. He attended physical therapy as part of his rehabilitation. He was impressed with the care he received and the knowledge of the treating therapist. Therefore he began looking into physical therapy as a potential career by first observing in a physical therapy clinic and then working as a physical therapy aide.
Jim attended physical therapy school at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. Immediately after graduating he went to work in Emmett, Idaho for two years treating patients in outpatient, home health, and inpatient settings. He then was hired to work for STARS and has been with us for nearly two decades.
In his spare time Jim enjoys numerous outdoor activities such as skiing, cycling, and hiking with other outdoor enthusiasts, happy hours with friends, and traveling with his wife and two daughters.
