Stars Physical Therapy Meridian Pediatric

Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS) is currently seeking a full time (36+ hours per week) Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L).  You will have the opportunity to provide Occupational Therapy evaluation and treatment to children ages 3 and up in an outpatient and a therapeutic pre-school setting.   The ideal candidate would have one to two years of experience.  STARS is a comprehensive therapy provider with sites in Idaho and Oregon.

Pediatric rehabilitation is used for children with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, Neurological Disorders, Genetic Syndromes, Orthopedic Needs, communication, feeding and swallowing disorders. This is an opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team which includes Speech Language Pathologists and Physical Therapists.  We have a great team of therapists in place that provide a fun team atmosphere and collaborative working environment!

Skills, Knowledge, Education and Experience:

  1. Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in any state in which the Occupational Therapist performs services.
  2. Experience in organizing work and maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Ability to create and work in a cooperative teamwork environment.
  4. Demonstrates awareness of community resources.
  5. Experience working with children with multiple disabilities and/or behavioral challenges preferred.
  6. Basic computer skills.
