Full Job Description

Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS) is currently seeking a full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist for our Ontario, Oregon clinic. STARS is a comprehensive therapy provider with sites in Idaho and Oregon.

STARS provides primarily outpatient rehabilitation treatment with a staff of specialists that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, recreation therapists, speech therapists, athletic trainers, neuropsychologists and case managers. Skills, knowledge, education and experience

  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Oregon Physical Therapist Licensing Board.
  • Graduated from an accredited school as Physical Therapist with a B.S., M.S., or M.P.T. degree and completion of the required field work and internships.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
  • One to Two year’s ortho outpatient experience a plus.
  • Must understand all basic physical therapy skills and be able to perform them accurately; must demonstrate good evaluation and observation skills for strength assessment, gait analysis, equipment recommendations, home evaluations, and range of motion assessment.
  • Must be proficient in the application of modalities and procedures used in physical medicine.
  • Ability to apply an adequate knowledge of anatomy, function, and structure.
  • Cognizant of safety issues and demonstrate skills in reading and writing, and able to communicate professionally.
  • Must have organizational skills and the ability to problem-solve.

Pay: $35.00 – $46.00 per hour
