Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS) is currently seeking a full-time permanent Speech Language Pathologist for Ontario, Oregon. We are offering a $10,000 Hire-On-Bonus for this opportunity! The ideal candidate would have experience in an outpatient and inpatient setting. Experience working with pediatrics, adults, video fluoroscopic swallow studies, pediatric feeding therapy, stroke/TBI, etc. We are willing to consider a strong CF candidate for this opportunity.

STARS provides outpatient rehabilitation treatment with a staff of specialists that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, recreation therapists, speech therapists, athletic trainers, neuropsychologists and case managers. Our number one goal is to provide “Excellence in Rehabilitation” by providing the best quality of care for our patients and their families.

Skills, knowledge, education and experience:

· Graduate of a school of speech/language pathology (MS or MA) or communication disorders is required. CFY candidates will be considered.

· Certificate of Clinical competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

· Valid Oregon State licensure is required.

· American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification is required.

· Active membership within speech-language pathology organizations.

· Experience in organizing work and maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

· Exhibits good interpersonal relationships and communication skills.

· Ability to create and work in a cooperative teamwork environment as well as independently.
