March is Brain Injury Awareness Month! This is a very significant focus for Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS). STARS has been awarded an accreditation for our Brain Injury program for both adults, adolescents, and children. The Saint Alphonsus Health System/Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS) continuum of care is the only system of care in the Intermountain West that provides a complete continuum of care for people recovering from concussions and more severe brain injuries. Saint Alphonsus is the only level 2 Trauma Hospital in the Treasure Vally region. The Brain Injury Program at STARS provides comprehensive/interdisciplinary rehabilitation services to people who have sustained a brain injury.
March is also the month to celebrate National Doctor’s Day on March 30th! This day was created to show appreciation to your Doctors. We suggest you simply tell your doctor that you appreciate all that they do for you and your health.
