Question: What can I do to minimize my child’s risk of a concussion or more severe brain injury?
Answer: Motor vehicle accidents remain the leading cause of concussion and brain injury. Please remember to ALWAYS wear your seatbelt and ensure that children are restrained in the recommended safety seat. Please wear an approved helmet for all activities that place you at higher risk including, but not limited to, riding bikes and horses, rollerblading, skateboarding, kayaking, and skiing.
