Question: I have Multiple Sclerosis and my symptoms are always different. Is there anything I can do to help manage my symptoms?

Answer: Unfortunately daily fluctuations in symptoms are part of multiple sclerosis for many people. The two common methods of managing symptoms are medications and life style. Your physician can prescribe medications for symptom management. There are many opportunities to modify your life style to manage your symptoms including the use of cooling devices and exercises for strength, endurance, balance and flexibility. These can be done in a community setting or at home. I have been assisting people with multiple sclerosis for 24 years and can develop a program of exercise and cooling to help manage symptoms.
