Question: I have been having pain in my elbow that has been getting worse when I reach out for items. Is there something I can do to
relieve this?

Answer: Sometimes overuse of the muscles that move the wrist and fingers can cause a condition called tennis elbow. This is a condition
that can respond to activity modification, bracing, and/or therapy
intervention for stretching, manual therapy, ergonomic instruction and use of modalities to decrease pain and improve flexibility. If your pain is not improving you can see your physician who may refer you to therapy for treatment. Please contact Michelle at STARS at 288-4670 for more information.
