Question
: I work at a computer most of the day and recently I have been getting pain in the neck and down into the shoulder blade. What can I do about this?

Answer: There could be a few possibilities creating your pain. You may have a dysfunction of a joint or two in your neck or a disk in the neck could be pressing on pain sensitive structures. The posture that you sit in while at the computer may be contributing to the pain as well. A physical therapist at STARS can evaluate you and develop an individualized treatment plan to address your neck pain and if needed teach you ways to improve your posture.
