Olson, Garrett

Garrett initially became interested in physical therapy when he was treated for some high school sports injuries.  He completed his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Oregon, and achieved his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. He then moved back to Oregon to pursue a 2 year orthopedic residency program. In 2016 he became a Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) through the North American Institute of Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). In 2018, he became a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). Garrett specializes in treating neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions from head to toe.

Garrett moved to Boise in 2018 to be closer to his family and the array of outdoor activities the area has to offer. He is also a volunteer puppy raiser with Canine Companions for Independence (CCI), a company that raises service dogs for children, adults, and veterans with disabilities. When he is not treating patients he enjoys snowboarding, hiking, playing guitar and ukulele, and cooking/grilling with his lovely wife Kelsey.
