Kirstin "Kiri" Swanson,

Kiri grew up in Minneapolis, MN and received her undergraduate degrees in Biology/Psychology from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. She returned to Minneapolis to attend the College of St. Catherine’s receiving her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Physical Therapy. Moving to the Vancouver, WA area she spent the first part of her career working closely with a local ankle and foot specialist, treating patients with general orthopedic injuries and surgeries, runners with various injuries, and patients suffering from chronic pain and headaches. During that time she became certified in the Graston Technique and began her training for the McKenzie Method as well as functional movement approaches for rehab. Upon moving to Boise, Kiri has continued her training with the McKenzie Method and has been treating many knee and shoulder injuries. Kiri’s primary hobby is traveling. She also enjoys downhill skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, and yoga. Kiri provides physical therapy services at our STARS Curtis Clinic.
