Henderson, Mel

Mel graduated in from Colorado State University in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy, and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Rocky Mountain University in 2003. In 2011, he graduated with a master’s in business administration from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. He has worked in neurological and orthopedic outpatient programs most of his career, but most recently served as the program director of the occupational therapy assisting program at Brown Mackie College in Boise. He currently serves as the president of the Idaho Occupational Therapy Association.
In his free time he enjoys running, yoga, and travel. His favorite destination is the Dominican Republic and he focuses as much travel time as possible to that country where he volunteers and performs charity work through the nonprofit he founded, The Pebble Project. Mel provides occupational therapy at our STARS Liberty Clinic.
