Michael Owens, PT

Mike received his Physical Therapy degree from California State University, Long Beach in 1991 where he also earned a degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine. Mike has worked with athletes of all ages providing both on-field injury management and in-clinic rehabilitation. He worked as an Athletic Trainer in the 1984 Summer Olympics which provided him with many unforgettable memories. Mike has also worked extensively with the geriatric population in home health and SNF settings. He is married to his lovely wife, Kim, and has many four legged, furry children which include 4 horses. Together, they enjoy participating in “Omoksee” patterned horse racing competitions where Mike and his horse “Striker” are 4 time National Champions. When not training his horses, Mike loves to golf and watch college football. Mike is also a Graston provider (tool assisted manual therapy). Mike provides out-patient physical therapy at STARS located within the Nampa Recreation Center.
