Shaun Murphy, MPT, is the manager at our Meridian Health Plaza, Eagle Health Plaza and West YMCA. He is a Physical Therapist who has practiced physical therapy since 2001 and has a special interest in outpatient orthopedics, with a focus on shoulder rehabilitation and sports medicine.Shaun’s special interest in outpatient orthopedics stems from his extensive background in sports. He is a former professional baseball player with the Montreal Expos organization. Shaun’s professional baseball experience transitioned into a career in coaching and personalized instruction. He uses his sports background experience and his medical knowledge to help others.
Shaun received his Undergraduate Degree from California Lutheran University and earned a Master of Physical Therapy from Long Beach State University. Shaun’s favorite leisure activities include camping with family and watching sports. He enjoys working out and playing sports, as well as coaching lacrosse and football. Shaun provides services at our STARS Eagle clinic located inside the Eagle Health Plaza.
