Occupational Rehabilitation
Occupational rehabilitation is the therapeutic use of everyday life activities (occupations) in order to promote your highest level of recovery. Occupational rehabilitation addresses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, visual, sensory and other aspects of performance in a variety of situations to support your everyday life activities. Common occupational therapy interventions include helping children with disabilities to participate fully in school and social situations, helping people recovering from injury to regain skills, and providing supports for older adults experiencing physical and cognitive changes.
