Dr. Michael McMartin

Dr. Michael McMartin

Dr. McMartin is the Medical Director for the Spine Care Clinic. He received his bachelors degree at Stanford University and completed medical school at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. McMartin completed his residency specialty training at the Mayo Clinic. In 2013, he accepted his current position as Medical Director of the Saint Alphonsus Spine Care Program.



Treatments may include:

  • McKenzie Method (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy/MDT) 
  • Soft tissue and joint mobilization 
  • Therapeutic exercise and core stabilization including therapy specific pilates exercises 
  • Chiropractic 
  • Posture and body mechanics education 

Dr. McMartin and Dr. Keel utilize the expertise of the STARS Physical Therapists. STARS offers patients a variety of hands-on interventions to restore function and mobility.Individualized treatment may include hands on soft tissue and joint mobilization. STARS Therapists may also utilize modalities to reduce pain and inflammation such as interferential current and ultrasound. Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS) has experience and expertise in managing spine disorders.
